The American Friends of the V&A invite you to an exclusive preview of the V&A’s newly refurbished 20th and 21st century galleries, Design: 1900-Now, with lead V&A curators, Corinna Gardner and Johanna Agerman Ross.

The new galleries cover over 120 years of design and will also house ‘Rapid Response Collecting’, consisting of new acquisitions that are made in response to major moments in recent history that touch the world of design and manufacturing.

Please join the AFV&A for a discussion with the curators about the approach to creating the galleries and for a behind the scenes look at the refreshed galleries ahead of the reopening.

The event will begin at 11:30 AM EST and will be live on Zoom. Please reserve your spot using the form below or RSVP directly to Diana Seaton at diana.seaton@afvam.org.
