Join V&A curator Connie Karol Burks at The Society of the Four Arts, for an illustrated talk showcasing seventy years of haute couture creations at the House of Dior, based on the major 2019 V&A exhibition Christian Dior: Designer of Dreams. Highlighting the recurrent themes in the designs of Christian Dior, the talk will explore his enduring legacy, demonstrating how the six subsequent artistic directors at the House have reinterpreted and reimagined Dior’s favourite inspirations. It will also include behind-the-scenes insights into researching and staging the exhibition.
