Tour of Rodin at The Met
October 25, 2017
The AFV&A are invited to a private tour of The Met’s exhibition celebrating the centenary of Auguste Rodin’s death in 1917.
On display are some of Rodin’s most iconic sculptures such as The Thinker and The Hand of God, alongside nearly 50 marbles, bronzes, plasters, and terracottas. Set in dialogue with these sculptures are paintings by Rodin’s contemporaries and friends, Claude Monet (1840-1926) and Pierre Puvis (1824 – 1898).
By invitation only.
